Easy to play and fun, Disc Golf (or 'Frisbee Golf') is a family-friendly sport that is a low impact, safe exercise for all ages.
Just like traditional golf, the object of the game is to complete each hole in as few shots as possible. With Disc Golf you throw a flying disc or Frisbee® rather than hit a ball, and to complete a hole you have to land the disc in an elevated metal basket. Wherever your disc lands, that’s where you make your next throw or “play your next shot”.

Head to the Visitor Centre for your discs and don't forget your scorecard to keep track of who's winning.
The disc golf course at Trentham Estate is a family-friendly 9-hole course with 3 tee positions on each hole:
Never throw when other players or people are within range. Always give non-players the right of way. Be aware of your surroundings and environment.
Each hole begins with a tee throw. Tee throws must be completed within or behind the designated tee area.
The player with the least amount of strokes on the previous hole is the first to tee off on the next hole. After teeing off, the player whose disc is farthest from the hole always throws first.
Fairway throws must be made from directly behind the lie of where your disc came to rest. A run-up is allowed.
Any disc that comes to rest above the ground is considered an unplayable lie. Please contact the Visitor Centre on 01782 646646 if your disc gets stuck in a tree.
If any area of O.B. is visible between the disc and O.B. line, then the disc is considered O.B. A throw that lands out of bounds, must be played from a point 1 metre in bounds from where the disc went out of bounds. Permanent water hazards and public roads are always out of bounds.
A disc that comes to rest in the basket or chains constitutes successful completion of that hole.
